Choosing the Right Level of Used Car Warranty

When purchasing a used car warranty it is important to realize that there are different levels of cover, no matter which company you choose. Although there are a number of car warranty companies in the UK, none of them offer the wide range of plans available through Warrantywise. For instance, a person with a Lexus Warranty can choose to have either a Platinum, Gold, Silver or Bronze plan.

Each warranty plan has varying degrees of cover for repairs and maintenance, but when choosing a plan it will be necessary to compare types of cover based on the area of the vehicle. A Mazda Warranty, or any other make for that matter, would have variations in cover in major categories including the engine, gearbox, clutch, drive train, suspension, steering, braking system, fuel system, cooling system, electrical system, miscellaneous covered parts and any aftermarket additions may also be covered if they were on the vehicle when it went under warranty.

If you are looking for the right level of used Honda Warranty, each of those categories should be closely examined. Take for example the engine on a Honda. All four levels would cover internal moving parts, the cylinder head gasket and the camshaft timing belt and tensioners. However, a Bronze level warranty wouldn’t cover the cylinder head, a turbocharger if the vehicle has one or the engine oil seals. Also, Bronze warranties would not cover the fuel system, the braking system and the cooling system, among other categories.

As a result, it is not only necessary to choose a good warranty company like Warrantywise but it is equally important to choose the right plan for your vehicle. Bear in mind that your vehicle and inspection/service documents will be inspected before the car is covered, so everything must be in order. Once that is accomplished you are free to purchase the type of warranty that best meets your budget and your vehicle’s needs.
